The long runs for week 1 call for 12k or 14k and here is a suggested route - from Tim's. Please be patient with my first go at loading and sharing routes.

Tuesday Run
I was saving this for Christmas, but those who want to know, want it now! Here is a first training program for ATB and spring events. Also posted on the blog down the right side for future reference.

Because the training program is out, and hills begin in January, you may want to consider the uphill battle now. Suggested route tonight.
OH, and if you see Rob Ford, don't try to stop him. He will not yield.

- Eastwood to woodbine, cross to Glenmount
- Up Glenmount to Gerrard.
- For more hills, turn left and make you way up and down back to Occasions.
- For more hills AND longer run, turn right to Main, south to Kingston, cross to Williamson, Left and across the bridge, up the pines, make your way back.

Celebratory Run
Tonight is a celebration, for Sam and her amazing full, and I do believe your Johnny Fry paaticipated, actually ran the race! And of course, our next wedding. Suggested route is across the Kingston Road, cross at Waverley, down to Norway, over to Williamson, cross the bridge, up the pines straight to Scarborough, up to Kingston Road and back.

A request for the north Toronto route, in case of rain, which there is some certainty of, go up glen to summerhill and over the bridge instead of the ravine.

Tuesday Run
4 x 800, 6 x 400, choose your poison. I understand the track and monarch has been under construction, so I guess you may be going to the other one? I will be at teh gym, if anyone is interested in that!
And I have a question. What attracts you to a race? if it is the cause what is it that attracts you? if it is the bling, what about it? the shirt, the medal. the meal? What? Location? route? routine of always doing it? Group think? what would draw you to a race, cause you to sign up, convince you to race?
Any feedback is good feedback, I would love to hear your thoughts!

From the two schedules I have, looks like a ladder at the track for some, and 8 hills for others. Whether you are coming out to run, to whine, to support, to eat or to make sure those who are able - are running - lets hope the booms, lights and water are gone by 6:30!

Tonight is hills for some, 6k for others. Choose your poison. If you are doing hills, it is a nice night for the pines. Head across Eastwood cross woodbine and up to Kingston Road. South to Norway, left to Lee, right to Williamson, left to the bridge and up the pines. That's two. Take it from there.

Time To Reignite!
Lame coach one and lamer coach two have been talking. While we are leading the charge on injury. excuses, wining, whining and dining, we need to pick up our casts and tensors and kick start the stellar butts into gear. And now that I am sitting around more than I'm used to, I'm bored.
I am taking back the keyboard. To complete the task, I need to know what your plans are. Any race goals this summer and fall? Midnight Summer run in August? Trail runs? Sam has a schedule, Shelley, Tod and Steve have a schedule, anyone else have one? want one? How about Aberg? Is there a schedule or do yo need one?
Let me know what you would like to do over the summer, and we will get you the routes and workouts. We may not be running with you for now, but we can help you stay on track.
And speaking of goals, here's something to think about. Some of us are talking about Berlin, in the fall of 2013. Far enough away to plan, could be a fabulous stellar trip!Fff
